Eat right: Eating a diet rich in fruits and veggies is important for keeping your eyes healthy. Foods that contain nutrients like omega-3 fatty acids, zinc and vitamins C and E are good at protecting your eyes against vision problems and cataracts. Include in your diet dark leafy greens such as spinach and kale, oranges and other fruit juices and carrots.
Clean your hands: Eyes are delicate. To avoid the risk of infection always remember to wash your hands before putting in or taking out your contact lenses.
Visit your eye doctor regularly: Visiting the eye doctor at least once year is necessary to ensure your vision is clear. Your eye care professional is the only one who can determine if your eyes are healthy and that you are seeing your best.
