You Brush too hard- Brushing harder does not mean that your teeth will be cleaner. Brushing your teeth too hard can do more harm than good. This can wear down the enamel and damage the gums.
You rush- Don’t rush the brush! Dentists recommend brushing your teeth for at least 2 minutes twice a day. To make it easier you can listen to your favorite song while you brush or set a timer.
You hold on to your toothbrush too long- You should change your toothbrush every 2-3 months or as soon as it shows signs of wear. If your brush looks frayed after a month that may be a sign that you are overbrushing.
